Is anyone else happy that Ms. Hilton is back in jail? I know my students feel a bit better about it because many of them would have been thrown in jail for the same offense. They more than likely would have had a longer sentence than 45 days as well.

Not much going on here. Thank goodness it is a half day at work. I have to be here all day, but I only have students until 11:30.

Yesterday I found out that while I was away at a conference last week, some of my students decided to steal from me. The stupid women who substituted for me said she noticed things were missing, but she thought it wasn't necessary to document it. Granted it was Pepsi and granola bars that were stolen which I give out as prizes, the fact that she didn't find it necessary mad me so mad. She is such a git! She looked me straight in the face and said she had taken one of the cans of Pepsi away from a student, but still felt it was unnecessary to document it. Man I was livid. So I spoke with my boss, and she was beside herself as well. This women will be a long term sub this summer and if this is what she is going to be like then her students are going to walk all over her. She is not welcome in my classroom ever again.

So I have a few things to look forward to; Milwaukee Vacation in August and the credetnial program I'll be stating in September. Now July will have a couple high notes i.e. July 12 and 21, however I'm way more excited about the first two. I still have Milwaukee dreams a couple times a week, which I love. Hope all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.

So I mentioned the other day that we have had a few kids escape aleady this year. Well I guess the local news station was interested too, because they did a story on it yesterday. It was on Channel 2, NBC up here, Live at 5. It was kind of funny.

I work at a rehabilitation Ranch for boys. There are NO fences. Kids like to run. I refer to it as "Self-Discharge." I started here in January. Since then 8, give or take a few, kids have run; two of them ran today. I predict that razor wire will appear soon. Sad
